      1. Snowdrops are perennial, and each year their number will increase. Taking into account what I have read, you have 4 distinct seasons in Chicago, as we have in Romania. Also, I found the next statement made by Dr. Jim Ault, director of ornamental plant research: “In mild winters, Common snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis) can be found in bloom in late January, but more typically in February and March in the Chicago area, well ahead of any other bulbs.” Give it a try and add some more beauty to our world! 🙂
