Fall In Love (见倾心) (2021)
I watch movies without categorizing them by location or famous actors. I stumbled upon this movie and being very pleased with it, I want to share it with you.
In the movie, the main characters Tan Xuan Lin and Mu Wan Qing have an unfortunate encounter that leads to misunderstandings. Despite being the new commander of the troops and having increased authority, Tan Xuan Lin has to face many problems. However, Tan Xuan Lin and Mu Wan Qing soon become partners and work together to investigate an old case related to Mu Wan Qing’s family. They also help each other through the tumultuous times in Shanghai.
Another character is Xu Guang Yao who is admired by many and dislikes the power struggles within the political field. After a chance encounter between all three, they go through life-and-death struggles together and realize the importance of protecting the country during those times.

While the first few episodes might seem slow-paced, the story gradually picks up and reveals the worth of the movie.
It also explores various emotions throughout its 36 episodes. The story revolves around family, friendship, political strategy, war, love, hate, life-and-death struggles, and thirst for power.
Being a military-themed drama, loyalty is an important aspect of the plot. While there are instances of betrayal and deception, the soldiers’ unwavering loyalty towards Commander Tan and their willingness to die for their cause is truly heartwarming.
The drama also touches upon several themes, including the conflict between the old and new generations, trust among individuals, and the importance of uncovering the truth. The symbol of the amulet is also used effectively in the narrative.
It is a Chinese drama and a great movie!
