Mirror, Mirror (2012)

Mirror, Mirror is a fantasy comedy, film based on the Grimm Brothers’ story Snow White.

With lots of action, drama, adventure and romance, vibrant and funny characters, with colourful costumes, the movie makes a few twists without changing the initial storyline completely.

Snow White is hidden away in the palace by the ruthless queen. Jealous of the princess, the queen banishes her to a forest. With the help of a rebellious, and kindhearted dwarfs band, Snow White becomes a brave young woman determined to save her country from the Queen. She reclaims her birthright, roars into action and wins back her prince.

It seems to be more of a young person’s film, but this magical adventure comedy with truth and wisdom makes the movie good for adults, too. 🙂

Everyone has magic within them but very few discover and learn to spend it wisely.

It is a light-hearted comedy with a great plot and surprisingly heartfelt moments. A movie that suggests that light triumphs over darkness, and love triumphs over fear.
