(review)
The author and researcher Erich von Däniken was born in Switzerland, and as a student, he was concerned by the ancient holy writings. Later, his first book, “Chariots of the Gods“, became a bestseller in tens of countries.
In The Gold of the Gods, the author presents theories about ancient extraterrestrial visitations, taking readers on a journey through lost civilisations and unexplained archaeological discoveries.
This well-researched and detailed book captivates through the exploration of history’s greatest enigmas and the mysteries of our origins. The provocative journey into the unknown is supported by substantial evidence found in artefacts, old writings and biblical references.
Written in an accessible style, the book is easy to read and ensures that everyone can understand its content.
I recommend this book to anyone intrigued by hidden knowledge, lost civilisations, and theories of extraterrestrial life.
Food for thought:
“Lucifer (from lux fere) means the one who makes light, the one who brings light. It is curious, however, to note that the Catholic religion even attributes the name of “light bearer” to the Evil One!”
“Shouldn’t we end with the image of Adam, the true crowning of Creation? I cannot “prove” the superiority of my theory, but there are no arguments to “prove” the opposite either.”
“Technology will probably soon allow us to come into contact with other evolved intelligences. How will we define ourselves when we are confronted with them? What will then mean Catholic and Protestant, Lutheran, Hussite, Mohammedan and Buddhist, Hindu and Israelite? These will be outdated criteria. Will we present our fellow men as weaklings because they don’t want to turn on even a switch on Saturday (Jews)? Or because they don’t eat pork (Muslims)? Or because they consider rats and weak cows sacred (Hindus). Or because they nailed their almighty God to the cross?”

Just for the record, von Daniken was exposed as a fraud decades ago. He’s known for inventing “facts” and falsifying sources, including his own credentials.

It is not the only one “exposed as a fraud” . It is known that those who attempt to reveal the “other side of the coin” are often dismissed as frauds because society relies on fear and ignorance. The Toronto Protocols are very clear: “Thanks to the disinformation, lies, hypocrisy, and individualism that we have cultivated within the populations, these individuals will be perceived by others as enemies rather than liberators.” However, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.
