(review)
Your Body’s Many Cries for Water is a book, as the author says, based on knowledge, personal experience and research. The information provided refers to the role of water in human health and the harmful effects of a lack of water in the body, which Dr. F. Batmanghelidj calls “chronic dehydration”.
Based on 20 years of clinical and scientific research regarding the role of water in the body, the book presents the extraordinary discovery that chronic dehydration produces stress, chronic pain and many degenerative diseases, accompanied by pain, in a society where, for any condition, we resort to drugs – “toxic chemicals”.
The author notes, “Correctly prescribed and used drugs make over 2 million people sicker every year and result in the deaths of more than 100,000 people, while incorrectly prescribed drugs claim another 100,000 lives annually.“
Alongside the research findings, the book includes real-life examples and letters from individuals who have benefited from applying this information.
As such, the book serves as a manual for preventive medicine and self-education for those open to exploring all aspects of nature and its benefits. The author’s key messages are clear: “You are not sick, just thirsty. Don’t treat thirst with medicine!” Because water is “a medicine far better than anything the pharmaceutical industry could offer.”
Quotes:
The government benefits from the rising costs of healthcare for the nation. Thus, there is a conflict of interest between the public’s needs and the government’s intention to maintain its revenue stream.
The greatest health discovery of all time is that water is a natural medicine for a multitude of health problems.
When the body is dehydrated, a system for rationing and distributing the available water according to a predetermined priority schedule is activated—a sort of water shortage management.

You are right, Patricia! Since we, like the planet, are made up of about 70% water, it’s important for us to stay hydrated. Thank you for your visit and comment!
