The Path to Self – The Path to Light is the title of my new book, published in English and Romanian.

“On our path, we struggle and fall, often tripped up by obstacles, fears, needs, and pains, driven by ignorance and a lack of confidence. However, through these challenges, we learn to rise and move forward with greater confidence. We begin to understand how much we want to overcome the obstacles we face, to seize the opportunities presented to us, and to make our own choices that will shape the path we desire. Whether we choose to confront our challenges or succumb to depression, medication, drugs, or alcohol to numb our thoughts and conscience, those are still our choices.” (…) (excerpt from the book)

“Cleansing occurs when we take the time to tidy our inner selves, presenting to the world the beauty of our soul’s garden, without looking for reasons to do so, without seeing ourselves as better than others, without fearing that we are less worthy than others, with the understanding that, “There is much darkness,… before the truth.” (Demosthenes)

It is the process that allows us to know ourselves, to rediscover our true essence, and to follow the path of the wisdom of the soul or as Ernest Bernea stated, “I fight continuously against the enemy within me, I strive to shake off the rust of my soul” (excerpt from the book)

“On our journey toward self-discovery, we encounter darkness that we might wish to escape. We experience the depths of various pains, yet we understand that without pain, there can be no birth. What is left for each of us is to open our eyes and ears to the lessons nature imparts and the wisdom of the soul, as an American Indian proverb reminds us: “Listen to the wind, for it tells you. Listen to the silence, for it speaks to you. Listen to your heart, for it knows.”(excerpt from the book)

“Today, we are the result of our choices from yesterday, whether we view them as good luck or bad luck. Tomorrow, we will see where today’s choices have led us because life, “per se”, comes down to our choices. Regardless of how they are made, these choices shape the path of our story and define who we are.

This is the path to ourselves, taught by the ancients, by Zamolxis and through Eastern philosophies, a path that has no beginning or end, one of change in the spirals of eternity. It is a path where we do not need to search outside of ourselves for what we have within.
