The sunrise in us

by Bianca Alina

I kiss your forehead.
All the bad dreams
Are stripped of their shadows.
You smile in your sleep.
I run my fingers through your hair,
And I softly press my lips against yours.
Your lips taste like chocolate wine.
Your skin smells like rainbows of insatiable desire.
It’s a quiet morning,
But my love is wild.
I want you with the intensity of a thousand suns.
