Spiritual Meaning Of Disease

“Emotions are what make us human. Make us real. The word ’emotion’ stands for energy in motion. Be truthful about your emotions, and use your mind and emotions in your favor, not against yourself.” ― Robert T. Kiyosaki

We are energy + motion = emotions. Each emotion has its own pattern of both under and over working muscles, and shows what is called the body language that we “read” and have a sense of how a person is feeling.

If the energy is stagnant (not enough movement), the emotions are stagnant, too. Stagnant emotions create blocks, create matter density in our body and the result is what we experience as illnesses. Any signal we experience as a pain is a sign of something that our body is trying to show us. Listen to your body for it knows the best what is good for you. When ignoring the warnings our bodies give us & pushing the limits of our systems, we experience disease.

I have taken medicine for thyroid, for years & I have been told that I will live the rest of my life taking them. Both my heart and sight were affected for medicine can treat the effects and not the causes of the disease. I was at a point in my life, when I had to make a decision. I talked to people who use their passion in treating individuals without imposing them any special treatment, I have read articles and books about emotions, holistic medicine, spiritual meaning of disease, and I made my decision of what is the best for me. I looked for the emotions involved in my problems, for their roots, accepting them as part of my life and let them go. The result? There are years since I have not bought any kind of pain killers and almost three years since I gave up to all medication. I do not need glasses for reading or writing.

I learnt to use my emotions in my favour and let them flow. I have the meaning of what Audre Lorde says

“Our feelings are our most genuine paths to knowledge.”
