Why would you want to be someone else? Why would you want to live as others want you to? Why would you want to do what others want you to? 

It is for you are told it is the way the society exists for such a long time, otherwise you are not good enough and you can be judged by people who see you, and your parents will be judged by world … It is the way we have been educated to live. Even living in the same way as others want us to, following  rules which others imposed on us, as they are superior and the rest of people inferior, showing us how we should be, what we should do, … all make us to live as others want us to. But, You are not like them, they are not like you. Moreover, where is the Golden Rule here: “We must treat others as we wish others to treat us”. …

We have so many rules in this life that at times we do not realize we do not live our own life, but we survive between rules and limits we accept as being ours. The result? It is a waste of the person who you are, it is a waste of your own life, for you are trying to be someone who you are not, someone who you do not really want to be, but you are afraid of changing something in your life, for that means you will not be a part of the crowd anymore. 

You receive lots of advice from parents, teachers, managers, … but usually, nobody asks you ” what do you want”? However, You can listen to all of them for

Think: why is your boss different? Money and job position. How is a governor, a politician different? Money and position. Take any leader you want in our world. What does make them to be different? Money and position for it means power of controlling. It is ego’s power. Do they have more birthrights? Are they created in other way than you have been? No, it is only your fear that others are better than you and your fear empowers others to be who they want to be.

What to do?

Be yourself in everything you do.
Follow your heart as your own guide!
Follow your own way!
Create it, if you will have to!
You only need your own approval, for you know the best what you want to get from your life.
You could live your own life.
Act as it is your masterpiece.

There is one person who knows exactly what you want from your life and that one is only YOU. Nobody could know better the way you want to live your life, than you, for you are the only one who could make yourself your own work of art.
