The gold flowers of health and beauty
(Calendula officinalis)
These flowers are perennials and are not pretentious. The temperature drops and they are still blooming in the garden.
Called “the gold flowers of health and beauty” (Marigold), they are used in treating different health problems (eczema, gastritis, skin burns, wounds, scars, insect bites) for centuries.
Benefits of Marigold tea:

1. Boil one cup of water.
2. Use one tablespoon of dried petals or a few flowers.
3. Allow to steep for 10-15 min.

It is lovely! I like it! Be sure you make tea from Calendula officinalis. Calendula flowers and leaves have a slightly sweet aroma, while the odor of marigolds is unpleasant and strangely pungent or spicy.
