A Little bit of Heaven (206)

Negrileasa Daffodil Meadow

Nestled in the Metaliferi Mountains, the reserve Negrileasa Daffodil Meadow lies between the Negrilesei and Grozei Valleys.

At the heights of Hill Buciumanilor, the daffodil meadows paint the summit and the northwestern slopes with cheerful blooms. Flourishing at elevations between 1,150 and 1,250 meters, the daffodils create a stunning panorama that captivates visitors.

After a refreshing pause, the enchanting daffodils (Narcissus stellaris) continue to cascade down the southeastern slope of Mount Vâlcoi, inviting all who wander here to experience their beauty.

The reserve spans approximately 45 hectares and was designated as a protected area in 1995.
